SMS Privacy Policy

This SMS Privacy Policy describes how Poolhaus (operated by Gazzini Ventures LLC, gazzini.com; “Poolhaus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects and uses information in connection with its text-messaging (SMS) program. It supplements our general Privacy Policy and applies specifically to messages we send by SMS.

The messages we send

Poolhaus sends the following types of SMS messages:

• Account verification — one-time passcodes (OTP) that sign a pool service operator in to the Poolhaus app, or verify a customer’s phone when they request a code after signup.
• Service and invoice notifications — after a pool service visit, a link to view the completed service and pay the invoice, and a reminder if the invoice stays unpaid. These are transactional account notifications, not marketing.

How you opt in (consent)

Operators request a sign-in code in the Poolhaus app. Customers opt in to recurring service and invoice texts through a separate, optional checkbox during web signup, or after their operator asks and records their agreement in the app. We retain the consent record and applicable disclosure version. Providing a phone number or choosing optional phone verification does not grant recurring SMS consent. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

How we use mobile information

We use your mobile number only to deliver the messages described above and to operate and secure the service. We do not use it for any other purpose.

We do not share mobile information for marketing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our SMS provider (Twilio), is permitted solely to deliver the messages you have requested. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on activity (for example, when an operator signs in, completes a service visit, or an invoice remains unpaid).

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Poolhaus does not charge for SMS; your mobile carrier’s standard rates apply.

Opt out and help

You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send further texts unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or email support@poolhaus.com. Opting out of verification (OTP) texts may prevent an operator from signing in.

Carrier liability

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
