Privacy Policy

Poolhaus (operated by Gazzini Ventures LLC, gazzini.com; “Poolhaus,” “we,” “us”) is software that pool service operators use to run their business from their phone. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers two kinds of people: operators who use the Poolhaus app, and their customers, who enter their details, receive texts, and pay invoices through poolhaus.com.
Information we collect
- Operators: your mobile number (used to sign in), your business name, and the customers, visits, photos, and invoices you create.
- Customers of operators: the name, service address, and mobile number you enter through an invitation or your pool service operator enters when adding you, the record of each service visit (checklist and before/after photos), and the invoices you are sent.
- Payments: card and bank details are entered directly into our payment processor and never touch Poolhaus servers. We keep payment status, provider references, and masked payment details. For an optional saved card, these include its brand, last four digits, and expiry, along with the authorization text/version and consent record. Saving a card does not charge it or enable automatic payments. Our payment processor is currently Stripe or Rainforest Pay, depending on the service provider’s account.
- Technical data: standard server logs and device information needed to run and secure the service.
How we use information
To run the service: signing operators in, keeping their customer records, sending invoices and pay links, processing payments, and preventing fraud. We do not sell personal information.
Text messages (SMS)
Our SMS Privacy Policy and SMS Terms & Conditions cover the text-message program in full. In short, Poolhaus sends these kinds of texts:
- Verification codes (one-time passcodes) requested by operators signing in or by customers choosing to verify their phone after signup.
- Invoice and service texts to an operator’s customers: a link to view the completed service and pay, and a reminder if an invoice stays unpaid.
How you opt in. Operators request a sign-in code in the app. Customers consent to recurring service and invoice texts through a separate, optional checkbox during web signup, or after their operator asks and records their agreement in the app. We retain the consent record and applicable disclosure version. Providing a number or choosing optional phone verification does not opt a customer into recurring texts. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
Mobile information and SMS consent
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or messaging consent data. Sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as our SMS delivery provider, is permitted solely to deliver the messages you have requested. Nothing in this policy permits marketing or promotional use of your mobile information.
Frequency, cost, opt out. Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to cancel; you will receive one confirmation and no further texts unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help or email support@poolhaus.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that run Poolhaus (hosting, SMS delivery, payment processing, photo storage, address search), with your pool service operator (for customers), and when required by law. We never share mobile numbers or SMS consent with anyone for marketing or promotional purposes.
Address search
When available, street-address search sends the address text you type to Photon (hosted by komoot, using OpenStreetMap data), or Google Maps when configured, to suggest matches. Your name and phone number are not part of that request. Poolhaus keeps Photon results in memory for up to five minutes to reduce repeated requests; Google suggestion lists are not cached. The address you choose is saved with your customer details only when you submit the form. Provider requests are covered by komoot’s Privacy Policy or Google’s Privacy Policy. Choose “Enter address manually” to turn off address search.
Retention and your choices
We keep records for as long as an operator’s account is active and as required for tax and payment records. Customers can ask their operator, or email us, to correct or delete their information. Operators can delete customers and close their account from the app or by emailing support@poolhaus.com.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a revised date. See also our Terms of Service.
